You probably don’t have volcanoes near where you live, but you for sure have heard of volcanic ashes clouds. These clouds can affect places thousands of miles from the volcanic eruption. And unlike earthquakes and floods that need a special insurance endorsement, damages caused by volcanic eruptions are covered! That’s right! If your house gets damaged by hot lava or volcanic ashes that fell over your house and ruined something like, e.g., your air conditioner, you can use your home insurance to get reimbursed for any repair you need to do.
