6. Young people don’t get good deals
Like I said before, insurance companies like old and loyal customers, and look to new and young customers with disbelief. But if you’ve been working with them and want to add your young child to the policy, insurance companies will probably charge an astronomical price. The best thing you can do is to add your child as an occasional driver rather than the principal one. And if they insist on overpaying, remind them that they’re not the only ones in the market and that some of the others even offer discounts for good students.
